Summary: The job of the Behavior Coordinator is to provide services designed to develop additional programming and enhance current programming in the area of behavior support. The Coordinator works in collaboration with school staff, families, and community partners to enable students to better access education opportunities. The Behavior Coordinator will provide both direct and indirect support designed to assess, monitor, serve and adjust support for students with behavior concerns to allow them to fully access their academic content in a safe and productive manner.

Work is predominately inside and generally provides protection from the weather but not necessarily from temperature changes. Some outside duties are required.
Occasionally required to ascend or descend stairs or similar uneven surfaces. May be exposed to communicable diseases and blood-borne pathogens.
Reports To:
The Behavior Coordinator will report to the Special Education Director.
Terms of Employment:
195 day contract. Additional days (at pro-rated daily rate) shall be paid as approved by supervisor. Salary and work year as determined by the administration and in accordance with Board policy, individual work agreements and the collective bargaining agreement.
